NEET 2021 Registration Process Step by Step

 How to fill NEET application form for 2021?

NEET UG 2021 application form step-by-step procedure can be checked below. Aspirants are advised to follow the NEET 2021 registration steps to avoid making any mistakes.

Step 1 – NEET Registration 2021

To fill NEET 2021 application form, candidates are required to click on 'fill application form'. On the new page, click on 'New registration' which will lead to the instructions page which must be read carefully. Then, click on a declaration that instructions have been read.

In the NEET-UG registration process, fill in the details in the below manner. A password must also be created as per the given specifications which will be the password for all future login. A provisional application number will be generated after registration for NEET 2021 login. This will be the user ID that will have to be used to https://www.ntaneet.nic.in/ log in 2021.

The following details must be entered during NEET 2021 registration:

  • Candidate's Name
  • Mother's Name
  • Father's Name
  • Date of Birth
  • Gender
  • Nationality
  • State of Eligibility
  • Category
  • Person with Disabilities
  • Identification Type
  • Identification Number
  • Mobile Number
  • Email ID
  • Security Pin (as displayed on the screen)

Choose Password: The next step would be to choose a password, retype the same, enter a security question, and chose the answer. Keep the security question and answer safe as this may be required to retrieve the password in case a candidate forgets it.

To complete the NEET registration, candidates must verify the above details and submit them.

Generation of Provisional Application Number of NEET 2021 – With successful registration for NEET, the provisional application number will be displayed. This must be noted down as it is the NEET 2021 login ID for all future logins.

Particular’s checklist to be verified - Candidates need to verify all the details by clicking on each section. No one will be allowed to proceed without ticking on the particulars. Aspirants are advised to verify all the details carefully, as no one will be making changes.

Step 2 – Filling up the NEET 2021 application form

After completing the registration process. candidates have to click on 'Complete Application Form' as shown in the image below. Login using the provisional registration number and password. It is mandatory to fill remaining details in the application form of NEET 2021. The other details to be filled in the NEET 2021 application forms are:

Section 1. Personal Details – Some details from Registration will be auto displayed and these cannot be changed. However, many other details are to be filled in the NEET application form as follows

  • Candidate’s Name – auto-generated from registration
  • Mother’s and Father’s Name - auto-generated from registration
  • Gender - auto-generated from registration and cannot be changed during the application correction
  • Category - auto-generated from registration and cannot be changed during the correction
  • Date of Birth - auto-generated from registration
  • Nationality - auto-generated from registration and cannot be changed during the correction
  • Persons with disability - auto-generated from registration and cannot be changed during correction
  • Do you belong to Minority Category?
  • Are you suffering from Diabetes Type I?
  • Identification Type
  • Identification Number

Section 2. Apply for - The entrance exam - NEET - will be filled in by default. Then, aspirants need to provide the following details:

  • Medium of NEET question paper - the exam paper will be conducted in 13 languages - English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu and Urdu.

Section 3. Academic details (Class 12 or equivalent) - Enter the following 10+2 qualifying details:

  • Pass status
  • Year of passing/appearing
  • Qualifying exam code
  • Place of schooling
  • Type of school/college
  • Qualifying examination state
  • Qualifying examination district
  • School board
  • Result mode
  • Roll number
  • School/college name and address
  • School/college pin code
  • Enter the security pin

Step 3 – Uploading of scanned documents and images

After filling out the details in the application form of NEET 2021, the next step is to upload scanned copies of the photograph and signature as specified. Candidates need to click on 'upload documents'

  • Passport Photograph: It must be passport size with a white background having the name of the candidate and the date of the photograph underneath the image. The size of the file can be 10 kb to 200 kb in JPEG format.
  • Signature: This must be done with a black ink pen on a white paper and should be scanned to a file with size 4 kb to 30 kb in JPG format.
  • Left-hand thumb impression: Candidates must upload a digital image of the left-hand thumb impression on white paper with blue ink in JPG format and the size should be between 10 kb to 200 kb.
  • Postcard size photo: Apart from the passport size photo, candidates are required to upload postcard size photograph in JPG format with a size between 10 kb to 200 kb.

Step 4 – Payment of NEET Application Fee

NEET 2021 application fee can be paid in online mode only:

After the uploading of documents as per the specifications, the option to pay NEET application fee 2021 will appear on the screen. Click on 'pay examination fee'. The application fee of NEET UG-2021 must be paid in online mode. NEET registration fee varies for general, OBC/ST/SC, and EWS categories. Candidates must ensure that the Credit/Debit card used for payment is within the validity period. For net banking, it is advisable to check the balance of the account and keep all the credentials ready before logging on to submit the application form.

Online Payment: Through Debit/Credit/ Net Banking and Unified Payment Interface (UPI) using State Bank of India/Syndicate Bank/ICICI Bank/HDFC Bank/Paytm service provider.

Note: Keep the proof of payment in the form of transaction ID/ receipt in case of online payment safe till admission is complete.

Step 5 – Printing the NEET Acknowledgement receipt

  • Once the application fee is paid, a confirmation page or acknowledgment receipt will be generated. This means that the application for NEET 2021 has been successfully submitted.
  • A copy of the NEET acknowledgment or confirmation page will also be sent to the registered email as well the mobile number of the candidates.
  • Candidates are advised to save this acknowledgment receipt for future reference. They are also advised to take a printout of the same for reference.
